Nuclear filtration generates significant numbers of consumable plastic filters. AMFM™ filters provide an environmentally-friendly, cost-effective solution. Using a patented design, AMFM™ filters are ultrasonically regenerated, not disposed of, which facilitates a very long service life and eliminates conventional filter waste and associated disposal costs. Each AMFM™ filtration system reduces waste disposal costs by up to $800K (USD) per year at commercial nuclear plants. DEI offers a variety of AMFM™ products including compact, submersible systems and portable, skid-mounted designs for non-submersible applications.
