Arresting Debris-Related Fuel Failures in Response to INPO IER L2-19-06
Many BWR and PWR units are now using high efficiency ultrasonic fuel cleaning (HE-UFCTM) and bottom nozzle debris elimination (BNDETM) in response to recommendations in INPO IER L2-19-6 for preventing debris-induced fuel failures.
