COLUMBIA, S.C. (December 2, 2025) – Dominion Engineering, Inc. an Allied Power business and leading provider of nuclear engineering, maintenance, and technical services, is proud to announce the addition of South Carolina native Craig Stover as Senior Director. Stover brings more than 18 years of experience in nuclear construction, engineering, advanced reactor technology development, and project leadership experience – including extensive work at the VC Summer Nuclear Station, where he supported major milestones across licensing, design, and construction for the AP1000 units.
With renewed activity and growing opportunities surrounding the state’s energy sector, Dominion Engineering is expanding its capabilities and preparing to support utilities, contractors, and partners. Adding Stover to the team reinforces the company’s strong commitment to serving the region’s growing need for nuclear infrastructure, reactor development, and reliable clean energy.
“Craig brings a level of experience and leadership that elevates our team,” said Dominion Engineering President Chuck Marks. “As momentum builds around the future of South Carolina’s nuclear ecosystem, our team is positioned to bring value, leadership, and technical excellence wherever we are called upon.”
Stover previously played key roles at VC Summer, providing engineering oversight in support of the two new nuclear power plants. He later spent 12 years with the Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI), where he served in various leadership roles including managing the Advanced Nuclear Technology program. His broad understanding of the nuclear landscape strengthens Dominion Engineering’s readiness to contribute meaningfully as opportunities emerge.
“I’m excited to join Dominion Engineering and expand a team dedicated to helping reactor developers, utilities, and industrial end users navigate the path from design to deployment,” said Stover. “I began my career helping start a nuclear construction project and for many years I’ve had the privilege of leading teams advancing research in new nuclear technologies. This next chapter is about deployment, execution, and impact.”
As Dominion Engineering continues to grow, the company remains committed to delivering trusted engineering services, providing problem-solving expertise, and maintaining high standards of safety and performance.
